7am We had a good shot of Porgy's close to home this morning, too bad it didn'y last a little longer. We spent the rest of the day Seabass fishing and that was pretty good. Everyone went home with a nice mixed bag of Bass and Porgy's.
7pm had a nice mix of Stripers, Blues and Porgy's tonight.
Friday 6/15
7am Started out Porgy fishing again this morning, but we could only get em' going good in the stern of the boat. The rest of the boat just picked one here and there. We reanchored a few times but had no better success. Took a ride to the east and had very good life on most of the drops with Seabass and Porgy's and a few Triggerfish coming ove the rail steadily the rest of the day.We even had a keeper Striped Bass and a few Blues in the mix . We also took a few minutes to enjoy a lovely show by a big Sperm whale that was feasting on bunker schools right next to the boat !
7pm Besides Striped Bass, Bluefish and Porgy's, some Weakfish even bit the hooks tonight to really make things more interesting on the night trip !
Saturday 6/16
7am We had a private charter this morning and the guys a good day of bottom fishing with Porgy' and Seabass.
7pm More Stripers, Blues, Porgy'sand Weakfish biting the clams and worms again tonight.
Sundya 6/17 Fathers' Day
We had the regular big Fathers day crowd out to enjoy the day today. The fishing wasn't so hot, just a pick of Porgy's this morning with a few Bass mixed in. We had to take a sick passenger in around noon today so that kept us close to home, so we never got a chance to look for mor more fish.further out and it ended up being a touigh day.
